On 19th July, American comedian and actor Kevin Hart visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial to pay his respects to the victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi.

Hart laid a wreath at the burial place where 250,000 victims of the genocide are laid to rest.

He was guided through the memorial’s exhibitions by manager Dieudonné Nagiriwubuntu, who explained the history of division in Rwanda, the causes, reality and consequences of the Genocide against the Tutsi and Rwanda’s efforts to foster a shared sense of national identity.
