Due to the posts on the Aegis Students Website Forum being made only by one member and over 800 active members being registered on our facebook forum instead, I presented to conference on the 11th January that that forum be closed and the official forum become our facebook forum.

It was unanimously agreed that this should be the case. Therefore, as of the 31st January 2007 the ‘Forum’ link on the Aegis Students website will link through to the facebook website.

Please accept my apologies if you have or were planning to post on that forum.
Should you have any enquiries regarding this issue, please contact me via the contact form on the ‘contact us’ page.

It was also raised at the conference that we should develop a MySpace on MySpace.com. This is already under development, but will not be used as a forum or discussion site. A link to the Facebook website will be provided for those who wish to register for such a facility.
The development of the MySpace came about from the sheer fact of it being so popular that it could potentially be an invaluable resource in the promotion of our cause and advertising of national events. As yet a launch date has not been scheduled, please keep an eye on the Aegis Students website for any further updates and the launch details of our MySpace.

We would greatly appreciate any input into the design and content planning of the MySpace, any suggestions can be made by replying to this post.

Andrew Hale
