On 30th August, renowned Arsenal and England football star Sol Campbell visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial to pay tribute to the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda.
He was guided through the Memorial’s permanent exhibitions and laid a wreath at mass graves where 250,000 victims of the Genocide have their final resting-place.
Writing at the end of his visit, Sol Campbell described the visit to the memorial as an unforgettable experience.
