Egidia Uwera

Having joined Aegis back in 2010, Egidia has worked in different capacities including finance and logistics, operations and peace education. In her recent previous role as the Champion Humanity Coordinator at the Kigali Genocide Memorial and currently serving as the Peace Education and Reconciliation Study Tours Coordinator, Egidia showcases her unwavering commitment to inspiring people from all walks of life and across the world to become champions of peace.

Egidia has been designing and implementing impactful training programmes, tours and trips for international audiences eager to learn about the history of the Genocide against the Tutsi, the journey to healing and reconciliation as well as Aegis’ Peace and Values education model.

Egidia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the School of Finance and Banking in Kigali. She has a profound passion for hospitality and a dedicated commitment to empowering Rwandan youth, especially women.
