The Aegis Trust Partnership Scheme

Aegis offers membership of its corporate partnership scheme to members of the NGO, charity, business, diplomatic and foreign policy communities. Membership benefits include:

Invitations to our events

We run small private events for our partners. These usually take the shape of a small dinner or afternoon event, at which a distinguished speaker is invited to comment on current events of concern.

You will also be invited to the wide and eclectic range of events with which we are associated: including theatre shows, film premieres, lectures, seminars. Current and past events include:
- Responsibility to Protect. A distinguished panel, composed of Lt. Gen Roméo Dallaire, Rt Hon Clare Short MP, John Bercow MP and Dr Mukesh Kapila, discussed how the Responsibility to Protect Principle should be translated into policy action.
- House of Commons lunch. Distinguished human rights lawyer (and wife to the Prime Minister) Cherie Booth spoke to a gathering of genocide survivors, diplomats, businessmen, MPs and senior members of the civil service at a House of Commons lunch.
- Former US President Bill Clinton spoke at the Kigali Memorial Centre in Rwanda (run by the Aegis Trust in partnership with Kigali City Council).
- UN Secretary-General's Special Advisor on Genocide Prevention, Juan Mendez spoke at our Centre in Nottinghamshire.
- Theatre events. Aegis has supported the Rwandan Youth Theatre's tour of the UK and London's Tricycle Theatre's week-long programme of plays about the Darfur crisis.
- Film premieres and screenings. Aegis helped launch and screen Shooting Dogs, Fateless and Hotel Rwanda in the UK - allowing supporters and members to meet with the stars of these films.
- All Party Parliamentary Group on Genocide Prevention. Aegis organises the APPG and partners are invited to all our public Parliamentary events.

The Holocaust Centre

The Aegis Trust is co-located with the Holocaust Centre. The Centre is set in two acres of beautiful gardens, in the grounds of a former farmhouse called Beth Shalom (House of Peace). The Centre provides a range of facilities for people of all backgrounds and persuasions to explore the history and implications of the Holocaust. We invite all our partners to visit us.

Partners are invited to use the conference facilities of the Holocaust Centre for appropriate events - perhaps as part of your corporate citizenshipship or education programmes.

Aegis research and campaigns

Partners are invited to help shape our research and campaigning work,by attending our seminars and conferences, and by suggesting ideas for campaigns or policy research and events.

Publications

Partners will be sent a slection of our reports and books.

Any partners or donors will have their names recognised (if they wish) in our materials and will be listed on our website.

Partnerships are £10,000 per annum for corporates and government departments and £5,000 for not-for profit organisations such as NGOs and Trade Unions.
